Ace Party was founded by Joanne Rimmer in 2015 and her energy, standards and personality still shape the business today.
Joanne is confident, creative and relentlessly committed to getting things right for every customer. She works tirelessly behind the scenes and on the day itself to make sure each event comes together exactly as it should. She is not someone who simply follows the usual formula. She is happy to think differently, push for better and get creative when a client wants something that feels just right for their event.
She thrives under pressure, is comfortable leading from the front and is known for being hands-on when it matters most — whether that means coordinating a setup, working closely with a venue team or stepping in and directing the finer details to achieve the best possible finish on behalf of the customer.
Just as importantly, Joanne brings real life and personality to the business. She is naturally entertaining, full of energy and not afraid to be bold in pursuit of a great result. That combination of professionalism, instinct and drive is a big part of what makes Ace Party feel different.

How Ace Party has grown
Since launching in 2015, Ace Party has continued to grow through repeat business, recommendations and a reputation for delivering event hire with style, substance and attention to detail.
Key milestones in the business journey include moving into a larger property, expanding the range of premium hire products available and preparing for the launch of the 2026 Ace Party showroom . Another exciting step forward was the introduction of the first mobile Retro Arcade Van, bringing the retro arcade experience directly to customers’ homes, venues and events.
As the business has grown, so has the range of events we work on — from private celebrations and weddings to large corporate events, venue partnerships and branded functions.
